Growing up both on a Rideau River farm in the Ottawa Valley region, and in the woods of the Algonquin Park area, my palette knife works represent the lowlands and back road marshes, redolent with birch and poplar of the rural landscape, as well as, the tangled wilderness of Canadian and Québecois forests and streams, and the haunting memories of the black spruce skylines and lily pad laden lake waters of northern Saskatchewan.
