These palette knife works are an homage to the painter's palette. Influenced by the artists of Réfus Global, my palette knife replaces the paint brush in achieving a physical connection akin to icing a cake, cultivating the soil of a garden, or mortaring between the stones of a colonial building.
 
The painter's palette itself functions as the 'recipe book' from which springs the aesthetic conclusion as finished product. It is the place where accident and error work together at an important juncture. It is where the 'behind the scenes' and the 'making of' a work of art happens.
